Strengthening Families, Building Support
Who We Are
Project TEAMS is a community-focused initiative dedicated to supporting children and families across Missouri. We work by connecting families with trusted providers, services, and resources to create safe, healthy, and supportive environments.
We collaborate with a network of service providers, community organizations, and local agencies to ensure families receive coordinated and timely support. Through this approach, we help reduce gaps in services, improve access to resources, and promote long-term stability and well-being for children and their families.
5 Ways You Can Help Prevent Child Abuse
Help Yourself
When problems of everyday life pile up and you feel overwhelmed, take time out so you don’t take it out on children. Learn the facts about child abuse and pay attention to the children in your life.
Help Children
Spend time listening to a child, reading to a child, or playing with them. Children need to know they are appreciated, loved, and capable of following their dreams.
Help Others
Support others with the children in their lives. Child abuse and neglect are community issues. We can create homes, schools, and communities where children are treated with respect.
Get Involved
Engage with community leaders, groups, and institutions to develop services that meet the needs of children and families. Volunteer with organizations that support children. Stay informed about policies that impact children.
Report
If you have reason to believe a child has been or may be harmed, report it. Contact your local child protection services or helpline immediately.
